The SIMS Foundation provides mental health and substance use recovery services and supports for musicians, music industry professionals, and their dependent family members. Through education, community partnerships, and accessible managed care, SIMS seeks to destigmatize and reduce mental health and substance use issues, while supporting and enhancing the wellbeing of the music community at large.

Founded 20 years ago to connect low-income, working musicians to healthcare, HAAM has grown from a scrappy, small non-profit to a model for other communities. Our organization is always evolving to respond to changing times and needs, but our focus on improving the health and wellness of Austin area musicians, DJs, and music teachers never wavers.

TEXSAR

TEXSAR (Texas Search and Rescue) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit first responder organization headquartered in Austin, Texas, serving all 254 counties across the state. Established in 2004, TEXSAR deploys at the request of law enforcement, fire departments, emergency management agencies, and relief organizations to provide specialized services including ground, K9, flood, and swiftwater rescue; aerial and UAV support; and disaster relief operations. Staffed entirely by highly trained volunteers, TEXSAR is fully self-sufficient with its own logistics, communications, and incident management capabilities, offering all services free of charge to requesting agencies. Operating under the Incident Command System (ICS) and in alignment with the National Incident Management System (NIMS), TEXSAR’s certified member-volunteers maintain a constant state of readiness and adhere to rigorous state and federal training standards. With divisions in Central Texas, Houston/Galveston, Dallas/Fort Worth, and the Coastal Bend, TEXSAR has become one of the largest and most trusted non-paid search and rescue organizations in Texas.

Austin Disaster Relief Network (ADRN)

The Austin Disaster Relief Network (ADRN) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization made up of more than 200 Greater Austin churches and thousands of trained volunteers united in bringing hope into crisis. ADRN equips and mobilizes the Church to respond quickly and effectively when disaster strikes, providing physical, emotional, and spiritual support to those in need. Through strong partnerships with local businesses, government agencies, and community organizations, ADRN coordinates disaster response efforts to deliver immediate assistance, including cleanup, temporary housing, and financial relief, while also supporting long-term recovery and rebuilding efforts for survivors. The organization offers comprehensive training programs to prepare volunteers and church members for disaster response, as well as customized preparedness planning to help individuals, families, and organizations strengthen resilience before emergencies occur. Guided by its mission to glorify Christ by empowering the Church to shepherd those affected by disaster, ADRN works to bring the transforming power of Jesus Christ to every life and community it serves.
